Of particular note was the level of service which was outstanding from everyone we came across.
People were allowed to smoke outside but not inside the hotel. The little village of Pertisau was beautifully situated in an Alpine Valley with the cleanest lake I've ever seen. The hotel was very accommodating and moved us straight away to a much better room (where most of the others seemed to be), which was bright and had a lovely mountain view. Our room was bright and spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the mountains. It was wonderful.

Ihr Hotel am Achensee: Das Hotel Post am See. Wir können bestätigen, daß auch hier in Corona-Zeiten ein Urlaub ohne Einschränkungen möglich ist und trotzdem ein extrem hoher…Aufatmen am Achensee! The food was excellent and the staff were always happy to help if you needed to ask for any advice. Whilst most were very complimentary, we did notice the one from a member in London July 2008 and consequently paid the supplement for a suite with south facing balcony and also insisted on our choosing our table in the restaurant - thanks for that!
The guests a mixture of German ,French and English were all very friendly.All in all one of the best Lakes and Mountains we have had.We agree with all the comments of the previous two reviews. Pertisau is a beautiful little village and the perfect holiday resort to completely relax in. Relax on 2,100 square metres of spa area, enjoy delicacies of our excellent cuisine. We arrived late but were still given the full 5 course meal.Having asked for a shower not bath we expected a small room ,possibly at the back of the hotel. Herr Reiser noticed the absence and diplomatically approached the guest with immediate offers of assistance which was greatly appreciated by the family.We stayed for 12 nights and found the hotel to be one of the best we have stayed at in the Alps. Prices are calculated as of 06/07/2020 based on a check-in date of 19/07/2020.
